Only the Crown has the authority to withdraw your charge. It might be withdrawn early without much fuss. It might happen after months of negotiations. It might even happen on the morning of your trial. Here, I try to give you a sense of the different ways in which your charge(s) might be withdrawn. All information has been edited, of course, to protect my clients' privacy.
