Tommy's Case — Attempted Theft — Police Report

Police Report:  On Sunday, the 7th day of February 1999, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the accused before the court, Tommy P., was observed in the front seat of a vehicle, licence RTM 385, 1992 Dodge Caravan, blue, which was parked in the second level parking lot of Ontario Hydro, 40 Money Street, Toronto.

At this time, a security officer, who is also the registered owner of the blue Caravan, was checking the parking lot. The security officer observed the front passenger door open on the Caravan. The security officer approached the Caravan, and observed the accused inside, as he was about to open a gym bag located inside.

The security officer identified himself to the accused, at which time the accused tried to run, but the security officer grabbed him. The security officer advised him of his Rights to Counsel. The police were called.

The accused was further investigated, and transported to 52 Division.
