Kenneth's Case — Possess Child Porn — Police Report

Police Report:  The accused before the court is 35 years old, and lives with his wife at 3*** G*** Avenue in the City of Toronto.

The accused in this matter, Kenneth F., purchased access 17 (seventeen) different times to a web site which hosted Child Pornography. The web site was located in the United States and the accused, Kenneth F., purchased access to the web site using his personal credit card and he paid American dollars.

The purchase entitled the accused a total of thirty days access to a web site that hosted Child Pornography. The accused admitted that he did view child pornography images on these web sites and did download images.

On April 30, 2004 a Criminal Code Search Warrant was executed at the accused's residence. A laptop computer and a computer tower were seized by police.

The accused was located at his workplace in North York, and on April 30, 2004 at 9:45 a.m. was placed under arrest for Accessing, Importing, and Possession of Child Pornography, and advised of his rights to counsel and free legal aid. The accused was transported to 54 Division, and after further investigation was held pending a show cause hearing.

The accused readily admitted to Police that he had purchased the child pornography off of the Internet in 2003, but had recently purchased a new computer and had destroyed his old computer.
