Kane's Case — Dangerous Driving — Police Report Client: Kane N., Accused Police Report: On 21 April 2008, police were called to the intersection of Bradwick Drive and North Rivermede Road in the City of Vaughan to report a fail-to-remain accident. Police investigation revealed that on the above date at approximately 10:16 a.m., the complainant left the Toronto Courthouse on Finch Avenue in the City of Toronto. He was driving Northbound on Dufferin Street slowing for a red light at an unknown intersection described as being near the Federal Meteorological Building when he was rear ended by the suspect vehicle. The complainant continued Northbound on Dufferin Street and just North of the intersection with Steeles was rear ended another two times continously by the same suspect vehicle. The complainant felt the second and third time he was rear ended were done intentionally by the suspect. The suspect vehicle fled from the scene and was followed by the complainant who last saw the vehicle in the area of Bradwick Drive and Highway Seven in the City of Vaughan. The suspect and vehicle came back clear on CPIC and locals. The complainant did not recognize the suspect vehicle or driver. He described the lone occupant as Male, white, dark greasy hair, late twenties to early thirties. The complainant is unaware of any reasons why someone would intentionally rear end him. The reporting officer noted blue scrapes/paint chips on the rear bumper of the complainant's vehicle. Attempts to locate a phone number for the r/o address were negative. The reporting officer sent a CPIC message to Toronto Police requesting an address check at the suspect address and at the time of this report, the message had not been returned.
