Frank & Joe's Case — Theft & Possession — Police Report

Charges:  Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Theft Under $5000

Police Report:  On Wednesday, the 19th of August 1998, the accused was in his store located at 81 Quiche Street West in the City of Toronto. It was at this time that three male parties entered the store. The accused men contracted with the men to steal a quantity of Tylenol pills. The men left the premise and went to the Wal-Mart store located at 900 Sausage Street. The men proceeded to steal approximately 84 bottles of Tylenol pills. The men then returned to the accuseds' store where the two accused men took delivery of the pills. The men were paid $100 for the pills by the accuseds from the cash register.

On Thursday, the 20th of August 1998, the Police, during the course of their investigation, attended the accuseds' store on Quiche Street West and observed a quantity of Tylenol pills on the shelves of the accuseds' store. The accused were the only two people who had knowledge and control over this premise. The property was seized and the accused men were charged accordingly.
