Fees — How much will it cost?Your fees will depend upon the nature of your criminal law problem, its complexity, and our legal objective. I usually discuss fees at the end of our first meeting. The fees and services are always clearly set out in writing, and I generally bill on a block-fee basis, not hourly. Why do I use block fees? Block fees eliminate uncertainty about your bill, let you know from the start if I'm affordable, and allow you to plan the expenditure. They also give you the comfort of knowing that you can consult me as often as you wish without additional charge. Although I have no pre-set payment plan, I know that only a short time ago you had no idea that you would be facing this expenditure. Once we determine the cost, we will arrange a payment plan that fits your individual financial circumstances. I also accept Visa, Mastercard, and Interac. |
