Edward's Case — Sexual Interference — Police Report Client: Edward, Accused Police Report: During the time period between 1 June 2000 and 14 October 2003, the victim would visit the accused, who is her uncle, at his place of residence located at 26 Elmish Road in the City of Toronto. On numerous occasions, the accused would put his hand down the victim's shirt and would fondle her breasts, and ask her, "Does it feel good?" If the victim did not answer right away, the accused would poke the victim in the side. On other occasions the accused would put his hand down the back of the victim's pants and squeeze her buttocks. In addition, he would also kiss her on the cheek during the assaults. The accused would also give the victim money, anywhere from a couple to several dollars. This occurred before some of the assaults and after on some of the others. The last time the victim saw the accused was Thanksgiving Dinner of 2003. At that time, the victim was in the basement of the accused's residence along with her brother and her cousins. The accused called them for dinner and as the victim went to go upstairs the accused put his arm in front of her, and told her to sit down. The victim said, "No," and pushed his arm out of the way. Shortly thereafter, the victim returned to the basement to eat dinner with her cousins, who were playing video games. The accused also came downstairs and sat next to the victim and put his hand down her shirt and fondled her breasts. The accused also put his hand down the front of the victim's pants and touched the front of her vagina. When the accused finished, he gave the victim four dollars which she left at the house. On Friday, 21 November 2003, the accused surrendered to officers at 42 Division, at which time he was charged accordingly. |
