Aldo's Case — Assault & Threat (Domestic) — Testimonial

One Monday morning, I woke up and found myself living in my parents’ basement — I had been arrested and charged with 3 offences, and told I was not allowed to return home or contact my wife. I was moving through a fog that Monday, until I found Craig Penney's website and started to read through all of his helpful information. I quickly called and arranged a meeting for later that afternoon, and met Craig in his office. Craig is a very straightforward person, and answered the questions I was afraid to ask. At our first meeting we discussed what had happened, and he explained the situation to me from a legal perspective, and mapped out the possible outcomes. He was very honest with me and outlined all of the things that could happen. For someone who had never experienced even a "J-walking" ticket, he educated me on the system, and pointed out some of the misinformation that is disseminated on other websites. Craig took a holistic view of my circumstances, and referred me to a good counsellor who worked with me to address the immediate situations I was facing, and continues to be a strong presence in my life today — helping build my future. Not very many lawyers spend much time looking to help you on a personal level, outside of trying to win the case. When it came to the fee, Craig was very straight forward and outlined his charges. His "block fee" system covered all of the incidentals other law firms may leave out when quoting a fee to cover the case. Whenever I had a question or needed any advice, Craig responded to my inquiries quickly and was very thorough in his responses. Three months after I was charged, I now find myself on the road to recovering my life — both legally and personally — now that I know the charges will be withdrawn. Today was the first day I spent time with my wife and children together in three months and we went for a bike ride in the park, and it was the most enjoyable bike ride of my life — because I realized today I do have a life after this nightmare, and I realize Craig helped me accomplish the challenge of getting to this point. I still have things to deal with, but if I complete the plan Craig help put in place for me, I know my life after all this will be better than it was prior to any charges being brought against me. I recommend you contact Craig if you need help, and offer one piece of advice to anyone facing charges — keep an open mind and listen to the advice Craig provides you — it may just help you recover your life.
